Jan Jaromir Aleksiun

Born in 1940 in Nowa Wilejka near Vilnius, Jan Jaromir Aleksiun graduated from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Wroclaw School of Fine Arts in 1966.

President of the University of Wroclaw, Jan Jaromir Aleksiun resigned after the introduction of martial law in 1981 before becoming a professor at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. 1994 to 1999.
